Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups (180g) graham cracker crumbs
  • 5 tbsp (70g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp (37g) granulated sugar

Instructions:

  1. Pulse graham cracker crumbs in a food processor until they reach a consistency of fine, uniform sand.
  2. Combine the crumbs and granulated sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle the melted butter over the mixture and stir with a fork or spatula until the crumbs resemble wet sand and no dry patches of sugar remain.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate or springform pan. Use the flat bottom of a glass to press the crumbs firmly into the base and up the sides until the surface feels firm and level.
  5. Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the butter to re-solidify and set the crust.
