- 1 tsp (5ml) honey
- 1/2 cup (75g) seedless cucumber slices
- 1/2 cup (70g) blueberries
- 1/4 cup (30g) pretzels
Instructions:
- Flatten the bread slices slightly with your palm and use a circular cookie cutter to punch out 4-6 uniform discs. Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bread base from edge to edge to create a moisture barrier.
- Layer the lean turkey or ham on the bread, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese. Press down firmly to lock the ingredients together.
- For a sweet variation, spread a thin layer of honey on the bread and top with a slice of cheese or apple.
- Place the mini sandwiches in the largest compartment of the bento box.
- Arrange the cucumber slices, blueberries, and pretzels in the remaining dividers, ensuring no ingredients overlap.
