- 0.25 tsp Dried Dill Weed
- 0.25 tsp Garlic Powder
- 0.25 tsp Onion Powder
- 0.25 tsp Coarsely Ground Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions:
- In a medium glass bowl, combine the heavy mayonnaise and sour cream. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is glossy and free of any lumps to create the structural emulsion base.
- Add the dry ranch seasoning packet, dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper directly into the thick mayonnaise mixture.
- Whisk the dry spices into the mayo base thoroughly before adding liquid; this allows the fat-soluble flavor compounds to 'bloom' and encapsulate.
- Slowly pour in the well-shaken buttermilk and the fresh lemon juice while whisking continuously until the desired consistency is reached.
